 The eight High Performance equestrian disciplines supported by the United States Equestrian Team Foundation are dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, para-equestrian, reining, show jumping and vaulting. Established as a not-for-profit organization, the USET Foundation's role is to help provide funding for the High Performance competition, training, coaching, travel and educational needs of America's elite and developing athletes and horses in partnership with the United States Equestrian Federation. 
Contributions made to the USET Foundation directly support the grants that the Foundation makes to the Federation for the High Performance programs. In 2007, the USET Foundation awarded grants covering more than 60% of the High Performance Programs. In 2007, the USET Foundation awarded $2,295,000 in grants for the High Performance programs.
