Jeremy Olson

Hometown: La Motte, Iowa
Discipline: Endurance

For Jeremy Olson, the sport of endurance was a family affair growing up. Olson’s father began taking part in endurance rides in 1978. Four years later, a seven-year-old Jeremy took part in his first 50-mile ride. Olson’s mother and sister also were active competitors.

Olson has found recent success with SA Belshazzar. This horse represented the U.S. at the 2010 Abu Dhabi Al Wathba President’s Cup in the United Arab Emirates with Ellen Olson in the irons.

With Noslo’s Mesozoic, Olson came in third in the Zone Team Endurance Challenge CEI1*. The pair then brought home top honors in the Sand Hills Stampede CEI2*.
